Hello

I cant speak or read japanese. But there are two signs - tattoos - and i want to know the meaning about them.

I hope that here are some people that can read japanese and answer me that question.

What a kind of japanese is that and what can you read ?

ﾅｽ竄ｬ (shi) = death
ﾂ人ﾂ青ｶ (jinsei) = life (not in the sense of "life or death" but simply referring the period of time when one is alive.)

The background is yakuza-style tattoo, by the way.
