Is this actually WWII kanji or scribbles?

Here's how I found it on the auction sales site.
The right-most character looks real, but the rest....
Lots of American soldiers faked this stuff to sell to swabbied when they got back aboard ships.
Thanks; even the photo of two IJA soldiers looks fake.
