WWII Good luck scarf?

Goo\d morning,

Would someone be kind enough to help with the translation and/or information on the photos of what I think is, a good luck towel, a prayer towel or scarf? Also, is the date 1944, August 3rd or March 8th?

I'm not super knowledgable but noting that the writing is a combination of kanji and katakana, which may have been standard practice for the time (these days it would be hiragana).

ティシュ	Tissue
私共ノ宅	Our house
１９４４ー８ー３	generally the date would be in Year/Month/Day format, going from the biggest to the smallest unit, so I would interpret as August 3, 1944
横内	Yokouchi (family name)
蛯名	Ebina? or Ezona? Or maybe I have the first character wrong (the stitched character seems a stroke short). Looks like another surname.
可愛イ家内	Cute family
甘イワンダー	Sweet wonder
三穗九	Not sure about this, maybe a place or neighborhood's name?
305	if the above is a place, this is probably their address/house number

This looks to me like something a wife (perhaps newlywed) would make for her husband, practicing her needlepoint and embroidery. However, I don't know how much gairaigo (foreign loan words) was in use back then, so the "tissue" and "sweet wonder" lines give me pause as to its authenticity to the supposed date.

The word at the upper left corner would be テイシュ, i.e., 亭主, not ティシュ, I think.
Judging from the wording 私共ノ宅, 可愛イ家内 or 甘イワンダー, and the forms of some kanji, it seems to me that it's a fake made by a non-native Japanese speaker.

亭主！！ I hadn't even encountered that word before. I just read "tissue" cause it's a handkerchief!!

Glad to know I was at least right to be suspicious of the wording. @Toritoribe what did you make of 三穗九?

I have no idea. It doesn't make sense at all. There must be a mistranslation, misunderstanding, miswriting or like that.
