Some revision help!

日本の花がいちばんゆうめいです。
まつもとさんとやまださんとどちらがダンスが上手ですか。.... どちら上手です。
I feel I have the other particles correct - but are the highlighted particles correct? I feel they are but would like some confirmation. Thanks in advance.

日本の花がいちばんゆうめいです。
は is correct, but が is wrong (or more likely, が changes the meaning from "The cherry blossom is the most well-known flower in Japan" to "The Japanese one is the most well-known cherry blossom (in the world)").
The latter sentence is OK.

So, what do you think the correct particle after 花 is?

So, what do you think the correct particle after 花 is?

At first I thought perhaps nothing, although after some consideration I am leading to 'に'.
Confusing because my textbook doesn't expand on this very much, only for the use of が when giving a statement. I'll be sure to go through this all again when I see my tutor.

The correct answer is で. This で works as ~のなかで, similar to "among" in English. 桜は日本の花の中でいちばんゆうめいな花です。 "The cherry blossom is the most well-known flower among all Japanese flowers." makes more sense?

Ah yes. That makes perfect sense. Thank you.

フィルムはどこにありますか。..... 上から三だんめのたなにあります。

Yes, you have.

庭にだれがいますか。..... だれもいません。
庭にだれいますか。 also works fine. (Who is in the garden? vs. Is there someone in the garden?)
