The wave of pink has reached the capital and I thought it would be nice to share your cherry blossom shots. Below are a few impressions in pink taken during the past few days, nothing artsy though.

By the way, you can easily and effortlessly share your images by uploading them to the gallery and embedding them in your posts. Just click on the camera icon in the text editor after you have uploaded your photos to the gallery.

I can't see the pictures on Tapatalk, but great idea!!

Thanks @WonkoTheSane, it seems that Tapatalk doesn't support the XF Media Gallery yet (it's been repeatedly suggested since 2013). One more reason to ditch Tapatalk in the foreseeable future. I invite mobile users to test the site on their mobile browsers.

Sakura Trees *_* one of the two biggest reasons one day I will arrive at the Far East Land

I go to Hokkaido to watch a Sakura today.
I load a tent onto a motorcycle and go out. (^_^)
I may watch SAKUR on the morning of tomorrow.

In Maine , the buds are just coming out on my cherry tree. I think one or two more weeks until I see the blossoms here. We had a long and cold winter and just now are getting some warm days.

The river was pink with petals.

My tree blooms for about 2 days and dies off. It is amazing it still lives. A drunk hit it with his truck at about 30 MPH. A new water line chopped all its roots off on one side. The tree trimmers cut off one of it's 3 main branches to keep it out of the power lines. All it's been through and it still fights on to live. Each winter it provides cherries to feed the birds. I'll try to catch it in bloom with my camera if I don't sleep through it.

きれい! One thing on my bucket list is to watch the sakura trees in Japan. I'd also love to have one in my back yard.
