I'm going through Tae Kim's guide on conditionals (Conditionals | Learn Japanese About halfway down, he gives examples for using ば with potential u-verbs, such as: 友達に会えれば、買い物に行きます。I noticed that he didn't give any examples for non-negative ru-verbs. In sentences like that, do you follow the same rule and allow a double れ? So, something like: 食べられれば? (If able to eat...)
