遅れる - to be late

ごめなさい - sorry

The whole sentence means "Sorry for the late reply." It's typical to use the ～て form of a verb followed by ごめなさい to say something like, "Sorry for..." or "Sorry I did..."


2. オランダはサッカーが強いですね。

オランダ - Holland
サッカー - Soccer/Football
強い - Strong
