Someone asks me to teach her something

And I want to be humble to say that "Not teaching, but we will study it together" 😅

Is it correct to say

教えるじゃなくて、一緒に研究します:?

or

教えることじゃなくて、一緒に研究します:?

or

教えるわけじゃなくて、一緒に研究します:?

教えるんじゃなくて(=教えるのではなく)
This ん/の is a nominalizer.

I would say 教えるんじゃなくて、一緒に勉強しましょう/一緒に勉強するっていうのはどう?(how about we will study it together?)

Thank you Tori😊

I like this one

教えるんじゃなくて, 一緒に勉強するっていうのはどう🙂

Is the second clause literally means "how about we say that we study together?"

Uh, no, this いう doesn't mean "to say." You can also say 一緒に勉強するのはどう? in this case. っていう/という has a function to make it sound like "the clause in parentheses"; 「一緒に勉強する」っていうのはどう?

The following thread might be somewhat helpful about knowing another function of という.:)
koto & to iu in "to iu koto", "to iu imi", "to iu no wa" etc

I would just say 一緒に勉強するってのはどう?

よく「~してはどうですか?」という表現として、Why don't you/we~を見るんだけど、それが本当に正しいかどうかよくわからない....:?

ってのは is just the contraction/colloquial form of というのは/っていうのは, or a Tokyo dialect if pronounced as ってぇのは. It's rarely used by female, I suppose. ~してはどうですか? isn't basically used for "Why don't we/How about we," and could sound somewhat arrogant.

I was wondering about that. 「なんで~しないの?」ていう感じで失礼にとられそうな気がしますね。:-) しては :I know there is similar grammar, it just sounds a little unexpected not being nominalized before the は.

Tokyo dialect if pronounced as ってぇのは. That's probably were it was picked up, ignoring the "natural" emphasis through long consonants we don't have in English. 😊

勉強(でも/を)一緒にどうですか :p
