はじあまして、こんのさんです。
あめりかじです。
わたしはだいがくのさんねんせいです。
せんもんはあじあけんきゅうです。
どうぞよろしくおねがいします。
Just to make sure I know what I wrote down I have:
Nice to meet you, my name is Konno (I dont know katakana yet, and my name is Connor, but I think i did good with the hiragana that i know, lol)
I am an american.
I am a junior in college.
My major is asian studies.
Nice to meet you.
Ok now, lemme tell you whats going on with me in english. I am visiting Japan for a month in the summer and needed a foreign language credit and thought, why not Japanese because I love the language and already try and learn it with a friend (who by the way i and beating ^_^ )
My first name is not Connor but my teacher calls me Connor because even english teachers confuse which name of mine is first and last because they both can be first and last names, lol.
I know its a bit childish but my only exposure to the actual spoken language is from animes that I watch. I really have a great time learning the language and hope to be able to speak as good as my japanese friend can. He's incredible, of course he has an accent but once I got used to it I totally could understand every word he said, He plans to be a Japanese teacher here in america.
Ummm, idk what else to say, I'm kinda hoping I can ask for help on this forum. Like I was trying to figure out how to say what time it is for example:
- なんじですか。
+ごごきゅうじよんじゅうはちふん。
i felt the need for a dialogue, lol. But i believe i asked what time it is then answered by saying that it is 9:48 pm.
I'm kinda just looking for corrections atm, like just then I reread what i typed and forgot to specify PM then had to also correct 48 cause at first i just wrote 40.
But ya I'm hoping you guys are open to help me.
oh yea and is it customary to use commas when writing japanese? I know there are no question marks.
