Hi

I'm trying to find western movies with Japanese subtitles so I can watch movies with Japanese friends. But, this these seem to be ridiculously hard to come by by searching on western sites.

So, does anyone know which sites the Japanese use to download torrents?
Or, does anyone know the Japanese for 'Torrent', just to start me off?!
(I'm guessing 'ニ暖ツーニ椎槌停?愴暖' or something?)

Thanks for any help :-)

I've always wondered the same, especially for language practice!

You might have to start with joining Japanese messae boards such as 2-channel, 4-channel, mIRC.

Mmmmm... I see! Not a bad idea!

As it happens, I just remembered that a friend mentioned a while back that he does the torrent thing... so I'll give him a call... if I find a good one i'll post it, I'm sure others would be interested :P

Please do. I'm very curious to find the Japanese side of this. ChinaBT was shut down so the Chinese source is mostly gone. I'm curious if Japan has such a BT community.

Me too i was searching for along time but i could not find any japanese tracker !

The files on the list appear to just be subtitle files, so the corresponding torrents will need to be found elsewhere, but a copy and paste job in google will probably locate them for you. The first file name is the subtitle file, and the second one is it's corresponding torrent file name (the part to copy and paste). According to the site if you down load their player (GOM Player) you can add subtitles to the file simply by dragging and dropping the subtitle file on the downloaded video file while it is playing on screen.

Or they say you can give the subtitle file the same name as the video file and that will sync the two together when played on the GOM player.
