I am fine if others like the song, me not like it. But that´s the difference in tastes.

I don not care overly about genres, I like when they are mixed a bit, but you know, even if you paint a picture, if you add too much colours, too much lines and too much shapes to it, it ends messed up and disturbing. And that is my feeling when hearing the song.

I like pop, but not the r´n´b kind of japanese one (or the britney spears one...lol I can t even come up with a more recent name...maybe....rihanna? dunno..)

I like music that is more challenging..and the new song just doesn´t fit to my tastes. It is just too clear what he wanted to do..he wrote that himself, he wanted to write a song that everyone will like...

like that could ever happen...

LOL everyone in miyavi fandom seem to LOVE that song!!! except very few people. So we are minority and losers here. I guess he knows his fans expectations pretty well. Remember some interview about This iz kabuki rock album where he said his fandom liked second part of that album more - that more soft and pop. He seemed a bit dissatissfactioned since aparently his music friends liked first part .

But he is POP artis so he serves the masses LOL
But even miyavi can't make me like that j-popish stuff i always avoided. But that new song is so damn catchy, stuck in my head even if i don't like it. Hope he will hit oricon with that.

yup, he is a major artist..(however unfortunately for me). Well, pop is from popular, music for masses..can´t be helped, he made a catchy song and I bet he hopes it will earn a lot of money, we know he damn needs it now.

Well i'd rather support him for more musicaly challenging stuff......
Personaly I'm suprised for all positive reaction for superhero. I remember back in Myv pops days were many hot disscussions on myv forums, and many ppl showed disapointment.
And even then his stuff was more of POP, and now i feel it more like just popish -
I really picture this song live - entire venue waving hands right to left,left to right. LOL, miyavi including - since he doesn't seem to play much guitar at lives again?? At least it how it looks on texas video.

in texas he at least shook his head instead of his bottom...did you see the PSC 1th aniv. concert? I watched it and I didn´t like his performance....everybody else did....but I was dissapointed. The texas live looked better..but I WANT to see him playing his damn guitar on the live!!!!!!!!

I was disappointed too. I completely don't understand his way of thinking. One of things I liked from kavki era was that he finally played guitar during lives. I didn't see his last tour but from i saw on clips he have some songs without playing guitar. But I was totaly shocked seeing him just running guitarless in budokan. And that last song performance was really ridiculous. I guess he tried rock the house and it was probably quite hard after gazette and with songs he chose. Morover most of budokan was gazette fandom i think.


But seriously i don't understand it -I saw many vocalists who can play guitar and sing and rock and entertain at the same time . And he - after all those years can't???? quite strange being guitar hero and don't play guitar that much during lives.

when I am listening to his early songs (and his guitar in due) I wonder why he doesn´t play it so much anymore. Of course, his voice got better during those years, but he is a guitarist all above...and he can sing and play and entertain..he should watch his PVs, like selfish love and don´t forget why people like him..because he is a skilled guitarist and a great artist...but every artist must have clear concept about what he want to to...and I don´t feel like he really had one now

I just think everyone got their own opinion about the new song. So don't say the song is crap because allot of other people don't think its crap. Its just a taste of music someone has and allot of people on myspace loved it and I love it too. So don't say its crap. You could better say its just not your taste and music style.

In my case Miyavi is growing and i am loving him more and more....
I cant agree with the others opinions, but i can accept them.
But this is a forum where you talk about such things....For me it is interesting to read others view to the song....negativ or positiv...

I think it is a pity that i can go to just one of four concerts in germany

But everybody has to decide on their own....

miyavi has been a pop artist catering to the masses since 2002. he has not been (in my book at least) a rock artist since then. and songs like "girls be ambitious" and "ku ku ruu" and "hime" go under the heading of POP for me. He is pop and has always been pop and that is the way of it. to like miyavi is to like pop and i am perfectly content with that.

by the way, raise your hand if you knew miyavi had dated a porn star.

Well yes he always sounded more pop than rock...and i never liked all of his songs. But this one can become one of my faves...

shippo, I agree with you, but well, there are differences in tastes, some like pop more than rock.
I don´t care if it is pop or rock or jazz or swing as long as the song is good...but I can´t say it about super hero. I said why, already. I miss his duele times...but there is no way he could change back. He can´t actually, getting married and becoming a father. But what dissapointed me, him being tamed...
