The parents of that baby are Tyko ( I guess u know, his beatboxer) and tyko his girlfriend ore wife X3 The baby really is kinda chubby :') Oh well daddy is pretty chubby too X3

Eh, maybe Miyavi just doesn't feel confident in his ablility to speak English and wants to be as good as those who have been speaking English all their lives... maybe he's a bit of an overachiever? (he'd have to be, the way he plays guitar... ) But anyway, I've heard him talk and he speaks it better than some of my friends do (and I'm from Brooklyn!) But it's really really awesome of him to learn a language to reach out to his fans who don't know Japanese... Let's all do our best to learn Japanese, and maybe we can meet him halfway

I have a lot of experience with a lot of racist and Pan-Asian Americans who use the term "Azn Pride" and generally act gangster and American Afro-Urban instead of rockish.
So I cringe whenever I see it or hear it because it calls back memories of mine of a whole bunch of painful or annoying memories of mine that I wish he, as a person I like, wouldn't associate with. And the term itself sounds general Pan-Asian and racist. So if he just put out a random bunch of words he saw, that doesn't bug me so much. Sometimes "Engrish" works that way, they just choose words they think look cool. But if he chose the words knowing what they meant and understanding the associations behind them, then I've lost a little respect for him.

Sorry but I think that this is just ridiculous. It's really just the album for the asian continent. People like me can't say that they are proud, because I'm from germany and our whole history is not worth to say this. And then everybody would say I'm a racist just because of the third empire and Hitler.
But not Miyavi, he is definitly not a racist
and I think he knows what that means ("AZN Pride") But he's just proud to be an asian guy (I would be too If I would be an asian guy )

U put the words in my mouth :') Like what I said before the album is for taiwan, korea and Japan. And like u said that its for the asian continent. I think exactly the same as Skulley. He is just proud being Asian and he doesn't mean to act like Asia is better then Europe or America. Let me try to explain, Miyavi released a album with some older songs and new songs for Taiwan and Korea in late June. In late August he released AZN pride for Japan also. For Taiwan and Korea it was only a cd but for the Japan version it was same cd as one of taiwan and korea and a cd

I think it's ok to be proud of somewhat you made. like for miyavi being famous and a good musican.
but proud because of being a specifically race is definitly wrong, cuz it's nothing you can decide. its nothing you can be proud of cuz you didn't do anything for it.
he can love his country, but to be proud of it.... no

Hm, yes considering that 31 of my 37 friends @Tagged is Japanese, and 33 is Asian = 2 are from other Asian countries than JPN ... and a few of them is very close to me and I've known for a long time and we just l♥ve each other.

I don't see any problems and my best friend Yuki @Tagged is from Japan and I've known him for over 4 months already and we speak almost every day if he is not too busy with work ... he has stood by me through some rough times also and I'd trust him with my life if necessary ...

But honestly I don't think Mﾆ津彪's sees any problems here, I just think he feels that it's a bit unusual really, he have until lately written also Kanji/Romaji @MySpace and trust always takes time and it's not for free ...

I'm sure he'll get the trust he'll need to get comfortable with it ... very soon !

well....its not really a big thing..I just know a bunch of people who understand Japanese and let them translate what he has written in his blogs...lol. and there's also masakarasu....quite a useful site and forum for all miyavi fans.

about the AZN thingy....I am asian and I am proud to be but I am not saying that I am superior compared to everyone. The way I see it, Miyavi is just proud to be Asian as much as I am.

well...he tries to write both in English and Japanese coz he wants all of his fans to be able to read his blogs...but he has been writing too much english nowadays that he said sometimes he forgets what is the Japanese term of some words...lol. I remember the time when he mixed japanese,chinese and english...maaan....translators were cursing him and his "language"...but he stopped coz it was hard to read for him too....hahahaha..funny.
