Does government have the right to banned religon from schools?
When is it the governments business what its citizens believe. The country was started on with christian men drafting the constitution.
U.S. Constitution
The constitution, which, as I pointed out, is a godless document, was written by deists, not christians. James Madison, who wrote it once said:
James Madison said:
"Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise."
"During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What have been its fruits? More or less in all places, pride and indolence in the Clergy, ignorance and servility in the laity, in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution."
Not the quote of a christian.
Thomas Paine, Ben Franklin, John Adams were deists, not christian. George Washington never professed any religious faith. Thomas Jefferson had this to say about christianity:
Thomas Jefferson said:
The Christian priesthood, finding the doctrines of Christ levelled to every understanding and too plain to need explanation, saw, in the mysticisms of Plato, materials with which they might build up an artificial system which might, from its indistinctness, admit everlasting controversy, give employment for their order, and introduce it to profit, power, and pre-eminence. The doctrines which flowed from the lips of Jesus himself are within the comprehension of a child; but thousands of volumes have not yet explained the Platonisms engrafted on them: and for this obvious reason that nonsense can never be explained."
Even the Treaty of Tripoli passed in1797 has this to say:
"The government of the United States is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion."
So, in conclusion, the constitution was not drafted by christian men, not matter what the christian right try to say on their revisionist history. Quite easy to check, google is your friend
Do you think your rights are being threaten by big government?
Conseritives would say yes, because Muslims are allowed to do whatever they want and Christian can't because it would offend the Muslims. The USA was built on religous freedom.
I had a feeling the rights you were going to mention were only religious rights.
You firstly try to claim the US was built on christian ideas (false) and then try to claim that it was built on religious freedoms (true). Make up your mind (HINT: the second is the correct one). I should also point out the most hated group in the US are $cientologists, followed by atheists (

Why are you singling out Muslims?
What does the constitution of the United States say?
U.S. Constitution
Yes, you have told us once, no need to link again.
What is the veiw point of the bible?
To me the bible is the one truth in the world. Others do not believe this.
That is your opinion and you have a right to it, as long as you remember others have a right to theirs.
