hey everyone really need some help my trip to japan has been give a sudden push foward by a couple of months so im getting prepared it looks like ill be staying in the new hankyu hotel in ginza but landing at narita a cab to the hotel will cost n arm and a leg not to mention an hour and a half so ive decided to use the subway i need to get to Tsukiji station on the hibiya line but every sight i look at for precise directions is utterly confusing the rail system looks so complex so if anyone can give me some directions it would be much appreciated(by the way im aware this might just be me panicking but i just wanna make sure, hate to be lost on the otherside of the globe without knowing the local lingo)

hahaha although im english you wouldnt know it from my writing ability no problems with spelling just punctuation it sucks im gonna have to learn my own language before I start japanese lessons.

I didn't offer a grammar lesson. I suggested you use the shift key and throw in a little punctuation here and there so your posts don't look like your cat took a nap on your keyboard. Nobody cares if you get your punctuation 100% textbook perfect; just show a little consideration for others by flinging in a few simple commas and periods.

It might be a little cheaper to take the Keisei Skyliner from the airport into Tokyo and then taking a taxicab from the Keisei station in Ueno to your hotel. The limousine service would probably be simpler, but traffic between Tokyo and Narito airport can be brutal. The Keisei Skyliner web site is geared toward getting from Tokyo to the airport, but you should be able to get some useful information from it:

If you will have a lot of luggage with you (I strongly recommend that you have no more luggage than you can actually carry yourself), then using the limousine bus will be necessary.

Whichever way you choose to get from the airport to your hotel, it would probably be a good idea to have the hotel (or somebody) send you a card or note explaining in Japanese where you want to go and the address.

I would also recommend the Keisei Skyliner from Narita to Ueno. But instead, since you are staying in Ginza, I would recommend that you take the Yamanote JR line from Ueno to the Yurakucho station and take the taxi from there to your hotel. You would save more yen this way than taking the taxi from Ueno to Ginza. Beware, the Keisei station in Ueno does not have much in the way of escalators or elevators and if you have lots of luggage, it is a pain lugging it up and down stairs.

Yes, but it would make it easier for us to read.

Getting back to the Keisei Skyliner. While it is cheaper than the Narita Express, I prefer using the N'Ex to come in from Narita. Still, the Keisei Skyliner is a good option if you are a little short on cash.

er, why not take the narita express to tokyo station, and then walk or take a cab to ginza from there??
