Greetings. My name is ... well, you can call me Vahn. I lived in Japan for 2 years and studied vigorously, and am now back in America, trying to continue my studies. I think I'll stick around the community for a bit just to get to know some other Japanese speakers. よろしくね
I do have a question though. I've been watching the anime "Naruto" lately, and I wanted to know concerning two insults. ^_^
#1: Sasuke always uses a phrase that sounds something like, "うすら とんかち" I believe that's how he says it. I'm pretty sure about the "Tonkachi" part, as it means "Hammer" in Japanese, though I'm not sure quite how it ties into the translation of, "Wimp." How off am I?
#2: "Scardey-Cat" I think they say something like, "びびく（ん？）" Not sure. Anyone know?
I have more from various subjects on the language, but this one popped into my head first and I just wanted something that would allow me to begin participating in the community. ^_^;;
