and yeah..abut teh yoshiki and toshi saga.
toshi didn't ruin anything. yes, the whole story is a bit..shady..but if somebody can't do something any more...they simply can't do it. would you rather if have ended the way it did or have toshi be all miserable and not having fun during lives and then have them fighting all the time? no. trust me, when bands get like that its time for a break.

and it would have all been amazingly fine if yoshiki and hide got to do what they planned.
to re-form x in 2000 with hide as the new singer.
but we all know what happened there.

don't hate on toshi. it would have sucked more if he stayed in the band. more fighiting and less good things. it..would have been..horrid.

as for the hug...just goes to show you that x makes life better..even if your the drummer and are mad at the singer. the sheer fact that its X Japan makes it better. and helps you realize that being mad at soembody whoes been there your whole life isnt worth hitting at such a time.

rant about is as much as you like.

i can't hate toshi or yoshiki or anyone.. sometimes it's just easier to
blame one person for everything but then again it's all so wrong.

i can almost imagine hide as new x's singer and they would still be
doing biiig tours around the world and i would have seen them like
twize already *smiles* but it didn't happen.

it was meant to be that what happened to x happened. it wouldn't
have been the same band if yoshiki and toshi would have been fighting
all the time and if hide.. well you know what happened. it wouldn't be
x anymore. you're right! so it's better to keep the good memories.

x just.. just.. made this world a bit better place to live? sounds kinsa
corny but that's just how i personally feel about the thing.

But still i can't hate him, when i'm listening all of those songs where he sang with so much emotions.

hide as singer in X would be cool, but still, hide's voice is not close to Toshi's vocal range!
I think hide's voice fits his own music better.

EDIT: X could still do a reunion.
If Toshi would change his mind and come back, maybe Taiji could be
the second guitarist or something?
(If I've got this right, Taiji is very good at playing guitar too)

taiji IS very good at gitaur. basicly, give him something with strings and he'll play it with awesome power.

X could do a reunion. but thats prolly won't happen. Toshi is too happy living in his own little world. [pets Rock God] he's so silly.

@jounetsu - lol hide's voice is different. Toshi's is all raspy and rangey...and hide's is all..amazing.
i like hide's better too. and him singing X would seriosly blow my mind.

Yeah, hide's voice and style fit his music. But maybe the new X would be something new. Their music style was changed in all of theirs albums, so maybe the new X would be something that fits hide's style.

It happened because of the way Yoshiki used to manage the band... Toshi's decision was just a consequence of it.

It is almost impossible that Toshi would change his mind: he was tired of having that kind of life, that's why he changed his way of being, becoming a kind of "spiritual" guy, very opposite of the mainstream life. And I don't think Taiji would work again together with Yoshiki...

(If I've got this right, Taiji is very good at playing guitar too)

He's good, but not as good as Pata or hide... punk music is not very difficult to play on guitars ^^

He left the band because his music style was very opposite of Yoshiki's, that's why he joined (and created) thrash metal bands as Emperor and Rommel, just as Taiji did with Loudness and D.R.I., soooo... forget about it.

hide singing would not have been X at all, that band would have been a whole new concept, taking into consideration that all the songs Yoshiki composed were made according to Toshi's vocal tunes, and the new songs should be made on lower tunes so hide could sang them...

Yoshiki is very hypocritical, he says X is in the past, but he still wants to make money with it; he wasn't X, they sucked when Taiji left the band, because they lost a lot of power and changed to a lighter music style... in the end, if he takes back X to the scene, they will live only because of the memories, I bet that it will suck so bad, because they will not have anything new to bring to the music scene, a thing that they made in the 80's, but not now.

I don't mean that they were all there was to the band, but I think they definately carried it the most. And with Toshi and hide out of the question... Well, I just feel that there would definately be too much missing for a reunion.

Very true. I mean, Yoshiki is having a hard enough time getting over all that happened with the band and hide anyways. That would be really emotionally draining to try to do a reunion after all that.
