Hi all,

I had seen kanji being used in sentences. I know i can use hiragana or katakana. But should i use more of kanji instead of hiragana/katakana?

I had learned Chinese before (I'm chinese) so i had no problem recognising most of the kanji.. i just wonder how i should phrase them in properly.

for example, birthday.
it should be tanjobi たんじょび
but many use the kanji.. i wonder how much i should learn for hiragana and kanji.

Use kanji when you are sure you are using the correct kanji.

たんじょ
Or you'll get someting cr azy like 短所美
Almost every word has a kanji--but you have to learn the language better to learn how to properly use them
ganbatte kudasai ne
毎一個単字又有ひらがな,又有漢字。可是Ni3用漢字 的前,要学比較多日文的語法等等。知道我的意思Ma?
