Good Luck Flag Translation and Authentication; Thanks!

Hello all,

I am looking to purchase this flag but want to run it by you guys first. 1st, does it look authentic. 2nd, any translation would be wonderfully appreciated! 3rd, the listing (included below) mentions the possibility of blood stains. I am always highly sceptical when I hear that. Opinions? Thanks!!

Listing Description: This one has a lot of stains on it which the owner swore was blood but unless you are a forensic scientist I don't think we will be able to tell for sure. There are a few holes. Lots of words/signatures so might be worth getting properly translated.

Actually, I figured out how to get larger images. Here they are.

Konnichiwa RHUSMC-san!

At the top, in large letters "祈武運長久". It is a phrase often seen on good luck flags, expressing a wish for good fortune.

However, the character for "武" on this flag is incorrect. Specifically, the dot that should appear in the upper right corner of the character is missing.

Japanese people sometimes simplify words when writing. For example, their own name or address. However, it is rare to simplify the characters when writing prayers, because doing so would be considered blasphemy against God.

If this flag is genuine, many people have written their names on it. And if you're Japanese, you would surely notice that the character for "武" is incorrect. As a result, it should have been corrected. (Almost all of the letters except "祈武運長久" are people's names.)

However, the incorrect character on this flag has not been corrected. Is that even possible?

At the very least, I have never seen a flag with the characters "祈武運長久" written incorrectly.

Of course, this is just my personal opinion, and it may not necessarily be correct. It cannot be ruled out that, for some reason, they are deliberately writing it with the wrong characters.
