Israelis targeted the international food helpers in Gaza deliberately

In that international war crime committed by Israel, three British, one American, and four Australian helpers who were serving in the international kitchens and trying to feed thousands of war-displaced people in Gaza were killed.

When they were going to one of the kitchens to carry out their daily humanitarian mission, their car was targeted by an Israeli fighter (possibly an F35), resulting in the death of all eight helpers.

One of the Israeli army commanders claimed that the attack was a case of mistaken identification, but I don't think so. Additionally, the Prime Minister of England and other politicians from Australia and America do not believe the Israeli proclamation and are suspicious that the Israeli warplane targeted the car as part of a plan to hinder international food aid to the displaced and impoverished people of Gaza.

Basically, Israelis are hostile towards foreign reporters and volunteer helpers who attempt to report on the war crimes committed by the Israeli army or provide assistance to the citizens of Gaza. The Israeli heads had chosen to close down all news agencies from other countries in Tel Aviv before the attack.

In addition to those human food helpers, Israelis have caused the deaths of 30,000 people in Gaza and tens of reporters and UN helpers thus far, that seems not to be accidentally.

@Mansoor, we may disagree on many things, but this is not one of them. I have been appalled at Israel's treatment of the Palestinians since long before October 7th, which has been used as an excuse for them to practically commit open genocide. The attacks on aid workers remind me of the American civil rights movement, where white allies were targeted and killed by bigots for helping the targets of their hate (they were branded "n***** lovers" and targeted with hate and violence for being "race traitors"). Once you've dehumanized a group of people and treat them like vermin, anyone providing aid, food, shelter, or medicine to them are hindering your extermination efforts, and become fair game. I've seen interview videos with people around Israel whose attitudes towards Palestinians absolutely disgust me. Of course not every Israeli is like that, but not enough are raising their voices to end the violence.

The targeting of aid workers could be the result of the individual soldiers pulling the triggers, or their commanding officers, but the general indifference and failure to investigate and impose consequences for this speaks to systemic bigotry that must be addressed by the international community.

No doubt Hamas is to blame for the violence they committed, and the October 7th attacks were heinous. But I won't go so far as to say that they are solely responsible for what Israeli forces are now doing, let alone the Palestinian citizens who are collectively being punished for the actions of Hamas, or aid workers trying to prevent a famine. Israel is now committing war crimes and no amount of whataboutism negates their culpability in their own actions.

The inability to broker peace has been a bilateral failure and an international embarrassment measurable only in human tragedy.

@Muz1234, In a conversation about a specific attack on aid workers, what is the point of bringing up a terrorist attack that has no direct relation to the topic, except to try and deflect the specific atrocity we're discussing? I would tread lightly if that's the level of contribution you bring.

What Hamas did was inexcusable and demanded a response from Israel. I supported Israel's right to retaliate against Hamas. However, the response that actually came from Israel has been so disproportionate and has caused so much suffering for probably literally everyone in the Gaza Strip that it is impossible to support any more. Two wrongs don't make a right, and what Israel is doing now is wrong.

It's not only wrong in islam. In fact, you don't even need a religion to tell you it's wrong to kill people. This conflict is littered with the bodies of non-combatants. Like the aid workers this thread is about.
