Wonderful...

Had to go back in this F$%'&ked up situation, had like 6 or 7 PCR tests, 3 days quarentine in a hotel, 14 days in total and back to work tomorrow... really nice to hear from my co-worker that I should have taken a test again today for PCR and "How can we and parents trust you?".....

This world is going crazy!

Did you ask him how you could trust him in return? He probably hasn't been tested in weeks if ever.

Unbelievable generosity and selflessness in Yokosuka: a man in his 70s or 80s walked into city hall and handed over a backpack containing 60 million JPY (~550k USD, 450k EUR). He stated that he had saved the money from elementary school and wanted to donate it. He left without leaving his name.

Selfless or just plain crazy?
If I had money to donate, the last place I'd give it to would be the government.

Now they have the funds to set up an expert panel to deliberate over countless meetings how to spend the money best. My suggestions:

- a sauna for the mayor:

- or a hi-tech toilet:

Two signs at the entrance of Yoyogi Park: the left one asks people to avoid gatherings and restricts them to five persons for a maximum of two hours. On the right: announcing a public viewing area for the Tokyo Olympics for 35,000 people.

The construction of the public-viewing area has sparked criticism as the Tokyo Metropolitan Government plans to cut trees in Yoyogi Park.
