Yugioh GX should have ended on last episode of Season 1

Its a great light hearted show. The problem is when it didnt know when to end. It was perfect episode to end it. You got a light hearted show with fun story to it. And cool music. Its actually one of the rare animes where i prefer the English version over the Japanese ones.

But problem with later seasons is, it tried to be super serious... and thats where the show fell off in my view. Even to the point of character assassination of Jaden Yuki. "Judai" in Japan.

Although, culturally insensitive. I wouldn't lie that this did make me laugh

I wonder what the original soundtrack said. Every native person recognizes that he's holding onigiri so I'm guessing that's what he said. But for the foreign viewers they must have felt it was a cultural reference nobody would understand.

In early Pokemon series. The 4Kids dub, called it Jelly Filled Donuts. Even worse in the Norwegian dub where they called it "Wienerbrød". Which is basically a type of pastry bread translated to English
