This is for the straight guys, and lets keep this simple. Try and just focus on the questions.

What physical characteristics do you like in a female? I am really only interested in this and not any emotional attachments or character attributes.

If you cannot be bothered to be clear, precise and honest, then please don't bother. I will ask that all irrelevant posts be removed.

1. Do you prefer fat, thin or something in the middle?
2. Do you prefer the same height as you, shorter or taller?
3. Do you prefer slim, wide or average hips?
4. Do you prefer a high pitched voice, middle range, or deep?
5. Do you prefer young, middle aged or old?
6. Do you prefer a hairy body or less hairy body?
7. Do you prefer a body that is hard, firm, or soft?
8. Do you prefer a thick butt, average thickness butt, or thin butt?
9. What sort of breasts do you prefer?
10. Is actual weight an issue for you? (not talking about fat but physical weight).
11. Do you prefer a body that is very warm to the touch, just warm or somewhat cool?
12. Are there any physical characteristic among these that would be such a complete turn-off that you would dismiss that female entirely? (like taller than you or too hairy?)

---------- Post added at 17:26 ---------- Previous post was at 16:52 ----------

For me:

1. between thin and average.
2. shorter
3. slim to average
4. I like all equally
5. young
6. less hairy
7. between firm and soft
8. thick (bubble butt)
9. larger than handsized but not like EE and over. I like them firm and perky, nipples pointing a little up. Pink nipples.
10 I would not care if she was heavy just so long as she does not squash me.
11. very warm
12. too hairy, too tall, fat and too soft are all major turn offs for me.

I should add, large and/or long nipples. Ugh. Its hard to hide my disgust when I see those!

Now I want to know: Why did no one answer? One caveat remains however: If you can't be honest, don't bother.

Why was this even posted. Honestly it seems a little disrespectful to women. I don't know why you're try to start a discussion about our preferences. Not all of us think with our penis.

Research. I think men do a lot of fronting about this issue. I think men should man up. The point of the research is to (hopefully) show that many men are thinking the same, and that some preferences some men may feel wrong for having are in fact normal (among other things).

While I consider myself a feminist (all for equality) part of the point of the thread is to combat feminazism (about subjugating males and shaming them for their masculinity).

(BTW, I notice you did not post your reason for not answering. Courage man, courage!)

Honestly it seems a little disrespectful to women.

Its not. Its no more disrespectful than if I made a thread to detail what sort of female character men like. We like what we like. If you don't like fat girls, another man does, I assure you. And if a man does not like fat girls, there is no Jedi mind trick going to change the fact.

I don't know why you're try to start a discussion about our preferences. Not all of us think with our penis.

Why do people have to characterize sexual research as "thinking with the penis"? Sexual research is important, valid and serious and so is sex itself.

You seem to be yet another person who thinks its all just a game or a joke or an unimportant aspect of life and humanity. I encourage you to elevate your thinking on the subject.

Based upon your previous threads of this nature, why would anyone respond?

Why should anyone refrain?

This is a different thread and a different topic.

Would you avoid my threads if they were mostly politics? Are you averse to the subject of sex?

Answering too many of these would tread towards viewing women as objects. If you get too specific, your basically shopping around, which no woman appreciates. That said, there's nothing wrong with a general sense of what you like. I like tall skinny women that know how to read. The only deal breaker there is the reading part.

I believe they make video games for people like you in Japan, where you can design your own woman and assign her a personality.

Will you promise for once that you won't engage in ad hominem attacks against people whose preferences are different from yours?

I don't feel that any of this is a game. Don't talk down to me, for I am always thinking deeply. If you feel there are societal problems you wanna discuss, check out the link in my signature. The forum is new and I'm looking for staff and members to get it started.

I have never ad hominemed anyone over their sexual preferences since I decided never to do so again long ago...well, not unless they ad hominemed me first!

So yeah, you can be at ease so long as you don't start anything.

Scroll up. See that bit about thinking with the penis that YOU wrote?

You talked down to me first.

The first thing you need to know about me is that if you hand me $#!T, I will give it back plus extra. So don't hand me any.

You are welcome to leave your wild assumptions about me out of this thank you. I don't play such games and I have no interest.

It's really hard for me to get it down to one type. There are types I gravitate to overall, but a whole lot of other types turn me on, be it on the street or in porn.

I like Asian girls, but I have liked jet black hair in general, and would say I like Mediterranean types too (olive skin!). Still, some girls in Japan with dyed hair, or some blonde or redhead might also pique me. I like the lack of body hair without shaving in East Asia. That is something special.

Men are in a rougher situation these days when it comes to the notion of satisfying sexual appetites. In the old days, exotic was two villages over. Now, you really have the world at your fingertips. It makes it harder to have a type. After a decade in Japan, blondes are getting exotic to me though.

I never said you were the one thinking with your penis zoro. It was a general statement about society. Whether or not you fall under that statement is your choice.

A rather bizarre response then and no wonder I was confused.

You don't need to think with your penis to have a preferred physical type. I would not accuse a man of thinking with his penis if he liked a girl's personality very much, but could not ever get romantically involved for her being obese. Nor would I consider him to be thinking with his penis of he liked women who were short.

Or I suppose you could say I only object to men who think with their penis ONLY. You might say I think with both heads, and to very satisfying effect! Two heads are better than one!

But you jumped in with that "thinking with your penis" comment just because I asked for preferred physical types (which you never answered BTW). It was an unfair and hasty statement any way you slice it.

Define tall. Taller than you? About the same as you? Tall, but still shorter than you?

I guess I'll be the first one to respond. :p Keep in mind that I generally don't care about looks when it comes to relationships and such.

1. Do you prefer fat, thin or something in the middle?

In general, morbidly obese and anorexic women aren't pleasing to the eye, but I'm fine with any body build within reason. I suppose something in the middle is the best term for it.

2. Do you prefer the same height as you, shorter or taller?
I don't have a problem with any of these, but I think that a shorter woman is more likely to seem cuter. I'd prefer to be taller. (Go Japanese girls!)

3. Do you prefer slim, wide or average hips?
Average, I suppose. I do appreciate curves on a woman, but I'm not too concerned.

4. Do you prefer a high pitched voice, middle range, or deep?

High to middle-range, but not annoying. Again, with the cuteness aspect.

5. Do you prefer young, middle aged or old?
I'm neither into girls way younger than me (although I'm only 19) or way older than me (like grannies..), but I'd choose to be with someone at or slightly below my own age if I had the choice.

6. Do you prefer a hairy body or less hairy body?

What sort of hair? If we're talking French hairy, I think I'd be a bit turned off. I'm just not used to seeing that. If we're talking about Japanese hairy, then I'm totally fine with it -- It's totally natural to have hair, I'd just prefer for it to be "neat". So, less hairy.

7. Do you prefer a body that is hard, firm, or soft?

A mix of the three would be nice, if that makes sense. Soft is what I'm into though.

8. Do you prefer a thick butt, average thickness butt, or thin butt?
Completely neutral. I can appreciate any butt so long as it's not freakish on either side of the spectrum.

9. What sort of breasts do you prefer?
Any size is fine, but big B to small D is the best in my opinion.

10. Is actual weight an issue for you? (not talking about fat but physical weight).

Not at all.

11. Do you prefer a body that is very warm to the touch, just warm or somewhat cool?

Just warm to very warm.

12. Are there any physical characteristic among these that would be such a complete turn-off that you would dismiss that female entirely? (like taller than you or too hairy?)

To be honest, I think that the only thing that would shock me is having hair under the arms. Tattoos are also a huge turnoff in general, but it depends on where, and what. I'm not into the "slutty" tattoos on the lower back/abdomen, or those stupid angel wing things. There are very few tattoos that I don't dislike.

My preference is a generally stereotypical-looking Japanese girl. :3

First of all, I love my gf very much. In how far she meets my answers to your questions, is for me to know only.
But let's not fool ourselves here. All men like beautiful women; there's a reason commercials, men's magazines and the like use the female form as much as they do. And why pornography is a billion dollar business. I'm definitely not surprised that this thread gets this many views. ;)
I am not ashamed of my masculinity. That's simply a few 100 million years of evolution at its best.

Beauty doesn't last though. If a man can't stay with a woman because of who she is, he'll never be able to get into a healthy relationship.

To my answers then :)

1. Slim but healthy; I'd rather see a bit more body than protruding bones.
2. Not important, as long as it's in normal boundaries
3. Average to wide.
4. Doesn't matter. I guess it's more important what it is she's saying, than with what voice. But that's outside the borders of this thread, isn't it?
5. Between 20 and 35.
6. Hair in the natural places. Those areas need no shaving for me.
7. Relatively soft. I don't find too much muscle particularly beautiful.
8. Bubble butt.
9. Natural ones. And not too large. Shape is more important than volume.
10. No. If above conditions are met, this cannot be a problem.
11. Warm. But somewhat colder feet/fingers/.. means healthier blood pressure, so that's okay.
12. Unnatural things; tattoos, altered or missing parts and the like. Case by case basis though.

Tamayo, thank you so much for being the first to seriously hit those questions one at a time.

And Wardibald thank you also for being specific and clear.

It seems both of you are okay with average hairiness on the arms, legs, pits and pubic and anal region, no shaving or trimming? Is that correct?

Oh, no problem. People are way too uptight about it -- Having a specific preference or taste in looks is as morally wrong as having a favorite color or genre of music. It's a little sad to me that the demographic of the forum is so unnecessarily sensitive about things like that.

I'd prefer minimal body hair in general, but I'm not particularly turned off by average hair on the arms. I also don't mind it in the pubic region, so long as there's at least SOME effort to keep it just a little neat. :p The others, though, I'd be a little shocked and turned off to see. In America, at least, hairy legs and pits are incredibly shocking to see on a woman.

EDIT: Sorry -- to be direct, I prefer less hair in general. :p

And the rest of the world in general.
You know, the novel I wrote, contains more than 30 pages of explicit and at times extreme violence. I also added 2 pages of an also rather explicit sex scene. Guess which part is the most shocking for my readers...
Lots of older people around here, who were young before the sexual revolution, are very frustrated and quite angry at the church for repressing their sexuality.

For me at least, that is correct. Female pubic hair is even a turn on for me.

Bingo! It seems to me that so many men in English speaking countries are brow-beaten to the point of shame over such things, and it disgusts me. Can we not be honest and proud about our sexuality and still be tasteful and good?

Very annoying to me. How can violence be more acceptable than sex? But I am pretty sure the world does not agree on this point.

As much as I support the sexual revolution we are still a long way from sexual liberation. In fact, I think America is going backward. Even those who grew up during the sexual revolution balk at having a complete and robust sexual education given to their children, even as late as high school.

And yes, all these are reasons I started this thread. I want to shake the shame off. We should not be such cowards about sex. IMHO, the situation is part of what makes especially Americans so violent and in turn, tolerant of violence.

Yep. Modern-day men are expected to be "sensitive" and to cry, and to live without ever caring about a "macho" image, but feminists still throw around the saying "Where has all the chivalry gone"?

The thing I've noticed about most movements like the Civil Rights movement, Women's Rights movement, etc. is that they almost always end up setting this country into a polar opposite mode. Society has become sexist against men, and racial (minority) preference plagues the government. We should start a thread about it. :p

I tend to lable feminists who want to have their cake and eat it too as feminazis. A feminazi is not dedicated to equality of the sexes. A feminazi is out to make women the over-lords. It is extremely important to differentiate. I am a feminist. I support equality in law and rights as much as possible. But at the same time I recognize that females in general are different and their differences should be appreciated, although not necessarily knelt to.

In fact, I think you will find most women, no matter what their political mindset, would still like to be a housewife. They just don't want to be chattel. They want to be respected as a housewife, and hell, why not? Its work. Its important work.

And you know what? The fact that I like women's bodies does not taint any of that.

I agree completely. Although, I still wouldn't call myself a feminist, as that's usually what leads people to assume I'm a women's supremacist. If you ask me, the urgent need for feminism came and went years ago.
