Hi everybody!

My name is Taiyo (that's right, that's the name my parents chose for me) and I'm a half-Japanese, half-Austrian guy from Vienna. I'm 27 years old and currently work as an attorney-candidate (mainly in litigation and real estate) (note to all American members of this forum: don't hate me yet; in Austria lawyers are not THAT greedy and brown-nosed!).

I've been to Japan on several occasions but never lived there. I speak Japanese (with only a minor gaijin-accent) but my reading/writing is rather poor, to say the least - however I am intending to change that quite soon now! My current room mate is from Japan and I'm in touch with quite some (half-)Japanese people here in central Europe so I hope I'll be able to contribute to this forum. yoroshiku onegai shimasu!

Nevertheless I have to confess that I found this forum because I am looking for information concerning my personal situation; but more about this in the sub forum "Working In Japan" (appeared to match best).

Welcome Taiyo. Enjoy your stay here and see you around.

Search engines seem to bring lot of new blood to the community, it is also my case. I'm glad that jref is so well positioned on google for example.

Anyway, welcome to the community Taiyo, I hope you like it in here. No worries about hate in here, we are all for love and stuff like that.

Welcome to JREF !! It's nice to have you here, and I do hope you'll check out the whole site, and join in where and when you can--or have interest in doing so !! I hope to talk to you later !! MM

Hey there, I'm American and I don't hate you for being a greedy, brown nosed lawyer! No, really Hi and welcome....

Hello and welcome, new person. Welcome to the site and enjoy your stay at Jref. I didn't know that some people think that let alone Americans. You have nothing to fear from me.
