WW11 veteran wants to return flag

I am looking for anyone with a surname Yamamoto who lives in Shizuoko, preferably in Tago. I am helping a WW11 vet return a Japanese flag with a lot of Yamamoto names who signed in the flag. Yamamoto is a very very common name in Japan. Shigeru is also common. How about to contact the following site or Fuji city, Shizuoka Prefecrute?(Tagoura village merged with Fuji town to form the city of Fuji in 1954.)

Good luck with your search in any case. I basically have respect for American WWII vets, and its nice to see them wish to return these relics and bury the past.

Could you post a picture of the flag? It would be a great help.
