Hi!
I'm looking for a way of saying something similar to this in Japanese:
"If I died... would you cry?"
What I've got so far is:
死んだら、泣かせる?
Is this sort of thing right? The only reference I have is the sentence "kimi no tame nara shineru", which I'm pretty sure means "I would die for you" [lit: "If it was for you, I would die"]. So do you show this by using the potential and an if-form? Maybe I should be using "nara" (as in the example) rather than "tara".
Thanks in advance!
Ed
