I wouldn't eat it, i dont really believe in the state of mind of just eating an animal just because it looks weird or is rare etc. I've get tropical fish for years, and i guess you get to appreiciate fish alot more for what they are when you keep them well- tis a shame to consume such a mighty fish.
Im not against eating fish or anything, fish taste nice(well most of the time ), just think its a shame to eat such a wonderful creature- must have been many years old to reach that size .
Meh, i'll just stick to eating my boring old prawns and tuna with my sushi .
I'd try it, but not if it actually looked like the monster in the top picture!
Somehow, I can't fancy poking my chopsticks at that unhygienic-looking object...
Christ on a crutch! That thing looks like something out of a low budget horror movie! Was it actually dead in that picture? As for the question du jour----I wouldn't touch that nightmare even if I hadn't eaten for a week!
Well, I don't really want to look at any of the fish I eat before I eat them. That's one of the things I like about Japanese presentation over Chinese. And sure, it looks crazy now, but I bet it's pretty tasty.
o.o It looks like it's still alive.
I can eat fish, but only if I can't recognize it.
o_o I can only imagine my boyfriend's surprise... He can barely eat mashed potatoes without making a face.
Heh! Can you imagine his surprise if you put one of those ugly suckers on the table! As is??? I'll bet that would be mighty entertaining!
As for me, I'll stick with Mrs. Paul's or Gorton's. I ain't going anywhere near one of those horrors, never mind eat it! If I did, I might turn into one of those things!
I would try it. Then if I like it then, I will be happy to have another food that I like. You can't judge it until you've eaten it. That's what I always say.
