Something like "I am glad to have unexpectedly/randomly come across this video/encounter this video"

1. Are there any places it sounds strange, would you replace anything or change anything about this line? Correct even?

2. How would I go about expressing that I was "really" or "so" glad. Would I just insert 本当に or とても or something before 嬉しい?

3. Not sure if to use ちゃう or しまう. Or ビデオ or 動画. If any.

4. Is この動画に unnecessary? Not sure if it's obvious from context or not. Well I could have met anything so I don't know.

I am still trying to figure out basic "naturalness" for now.

～てしまった indeed expresses "unexpectedly/unconsciously" but also connotes "regret", i.e., it's usually used in a negative situation something like 出会わなければよかった "shouldn't have come across".

I would say この動画にめぐり合えてほんとによかった or この動画を見つけられてほんとによかった.

I see. Yeah, so basically don't use ~てしまう for unexpectedness in a situation where I state that I am happy about something. Thanks for the sentences, they help a lot.

One more small thing, is the spelling of ほんと like that just a preference or casual way of spelling it? Both ほんとう and ほんと are in a dictionary with the same meaning.

Oh right. That explains a lot. I once thought people were just saying it really fast. And I thought the kanji set its pronounciation. But it doesn't.
