I know there is a lot of the same question. I looked at them and looked at those links like Jasso etc, but I just wanna make sure I am understanding it right and that the plan in my head can work.
After this summer, I'll be a Senior. I'm Autistic and on an IEP but I am not severe and not in much Special ed , just in light General ed classes, sort of special Algebra, and a IEP class meant to help kids at my level and give extra time to work for general classes, again barely special. I'm supposed to have social security money for my disability. Right after I graduate from HS I'd like to go to Japan for training school or college then find a job and live there.
Things I would like to do for work include being a Warehouse assistant, or deliver products from Warehouses by vehicle, something in the field or maybe a Language translator for courts, hospitals or personal, or others. I'm hoping to live or go to school in Akihabara, Tokyo or Nipponbashi, Osaka or close around them. I'm considering going to a Language school first before training school as thats what most people do. I'm studying Japanese right now, but not sure what result I will have.
So my questions are
- If I turn out fluent enough (doubt it), do I still have to go to Language school in order to get into a Japanese college? Would I be able to skip it it then apply straight to regular Japanese colleges? Unless recommended I should still just go anyway. Just don't know if Language school is optional or not
- How would I be able to support myself in Japan while in school? Is there anything that will pay for my living?
- Would I get my social security, financial aid and such from America to help me while in Japan, or would does it have to be separate and I have to find Japan's own?
- Is there any Training schools or colleges you know and would recommend based on places I wish to live and type of work I desire?
- Lastly with my disability and level, would this all be possible for me?
