I listen to all sorts of Japanese music just as long there aren't any women who sound like screeching car brakes. Gackt, Miyavi, Psycho le Cemu and L'Arc-en-Ciel are by far my favorite J-Rock artists. My favorite J-Pop artists are Arashi, Morning Musume, Aya Matsuura, Johnny's Jr., w-inds., FLAME and Lead.

I only go for the music sometime's the people who sings them and if I do like the song I might wanna know more of what the singer sings but when it comes to likeing the perpson I don't I just go for thier music.

I started listening to Malice Mizer, which then led me to investigate Gackt's solo career

I really like his solo act, he seems so much happier now that he's out from Mana's control LOL
hmmm....
after I got into his solo music that led me to start watching him on tv and other such ^_^

he's a really funny, interesting person
I've even gotten my fiance to like Gackt

Gackt is cool... at least his image works for me.
I 'm not too thrilled with his solo-career though. He has his good moments, but most of his work is too poppy. Too shallow. He should get some better producers to work with.
