Hello,

I own the White Rabbit Press kanji cards and Heisig's Remembering the Kanji. To this point in my Japanese learning I have never learned Kanji. Should I use one of these tools over the other, or does anyone have any good (hopefully specific) suggestions on how I can use them together?

Thank You for reading.

Try out both and see which one you like better. RTK is supposed to be very helpful if you have never seen kanji before and have no clue where to start. If you already have a basic grasp of how kanji work (e.g. some knowledge of radicals), and you just need to memorize specific kanji, I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks for your reply. I am in Japan now, and I See Kanji all of the time, but I don't really make it a point to memorize. I think I'll try to speed through Heisig's book, and then when I'm done with it, begin with the White Rabbit Press cards.
