Which university are you heading to ?

Hi everyone
Day by day, good news are flowing from the Japanese ministry making people happy (at least most of us) .After all what we've been through and the long tortuous period of patience i wanted to create this thread in order to know each other better; and in an attempt to make us meet once we know at which university everyone of us is .
So thanks everyone for participating
I start by myself.
Well for the first six months i'll be in nagoya at Nagoya university (japanese courses), then i'll spend the rest at Aichi Gakuin University where i have been accepted .
Ah ! by the way,i applied as a research student in "Management" .

I'm trying my best to enter Waseda University for their Intensive Japanese Language Program (IJLP). My home university has approved me so now I just have to wait for Waseda's response I intend to stay for one year starting March 2009.

i'll know if i'm accepted or not until august. If i'm accepted, i'll be attending sophia university for a year (august 08 to july 09).
It's going to be hard to be waiting until august knowing nothing about my status all this time....i'm so anxious already!

thats interesting, i applied at my school here in NY for their exchange student program to Waseda University too. I university also nominated me and now im just waiting for Waseda's response too. I plan to go for a year starting March 09 too lol. Good luck to us huh and hopefully see ya around

Hey Gurobarei, Welcome to the forum. I've actually met another guy online (lives in Oregon) who's planning on going to Waseda too. He'll be starting in August this year though I think. Anyway, do you use MSN messenger or anything? We could keep in touch. At the moment I'm studying hard to push my GPA up to the required level. I'm so nervous, I really hope I can do it.

Anyway good luck with your exchange, I hope we both get accepted.
