Where are my banners?

I noticed that jref wasnt displaying as many banners as usual and I then i check my banner exchange page and noticed that two of my banners are missing
why?
i also guess that some of those pages without banners should have my banners on them and that i am losing advertising, and id like to say that there are no blank spaces on my site

I can only confirm that your banners 1 and 2 were missing. Nothing technically wrong on our side. Have you edited your account lately?

I have removed the broken banners for the time being and kindly ask you to upload them once again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

well, i dont know how it works and while i have found many posts about the banner exchange i think the info is a bit sparse
maybe i have missed it somewhere

will i get credit for those banners too?

I have approved all of your banners, none is in the approval queue.

The script registers each impression and/or click and displays your banners at a ratio of 9:10 on our members' pages.

Yes, you'll get credit for each impression or click, no matter where your banner codes are displayed.

It's the following string in your banner code...

/work.php?n=[color=red]xxx[/color]

...with "xxx" identifying your personal account.

Btw, if you have found a way to display the banner codes in valid xhtml, please let me know.

Unfortunately, I have no clue what happened to your banners, as I haven't touched the admin area in days (shame on me, I know!). Banners tend to disappear if members upload new graphics and frequently reload the pages due to slow connections.

It's perfectly alright to display your banners on pages related to your main site.

i got it to validate but i cheated a little
dreamweaver is trying to get me to validate one more place which is a pain because when i do a validation check every page on my site has this single error
if you could solve it id really appreciate it and if i get the time to look at it again and find a solution ill solve it

well, my banners are gone again
i wanted to update one of them and now isee that they all need to be approved
in the meantime, none of my banners are being displayed
how long to i have to wait for approval?
i think there should be a better system...or it should be clearly stated what happens when you change your banner

The maximum file size of each banner is limited to 20.000 bytes (19,53 KB).

I think that's the reason. Last time I checked your banners they were more than 30 kB in size. Seems they get automatically deleted. Anyhow, I have just approved your new set of graphics.
