What's the difference between 素直 and 正直?

うそを言わないで、いつも本当のことを言う様子。 Between 素直、正直, I picked sunao and got it wrong.

Japanese dictionaries that I have give common meanings of honesty, frankness for both 素直、正直。 I also noticed that sunao is commonly used in japanese conversation to describe a person's feelings or character, so I would like to know how both kanji are being used in sentences.

yes, I think so too. obedient, meek. something like that. How about shoujiki?

正直 is "honest, upright, truthful"
Below is a conversation between sisters.
姉 「どう、この服、似合うかしら？」
妹 「ふーん、へんなの。まるでパンダみたい」
姉 「パンダですって。失礼ね。あやまりなさいよ。」
妹 「どうしてあやまらなくちゃいけないのよ？本当の事を、正直に言っただけよ。」

Online dictionaries and the dictionaries I have weren't of much help in distinguishing between them.
