Can you present any polls that shows Japanese young girls prefer Korean men?? This Oricon poll shows that Korean men aren't popular among Japanese women in general.

I deal with girls, especially girls in their late teens and early 20's, on a daily basis. They also think that the "Korean Wave" is the fad among old house wives.

I fully understand that you've reached your beliefs and standards after many years of careful consideration and experience. But what of those people with different experiences and backgrounds who will come to different conclusions?

I thought he was like that Irish Daniel O'donnel or those middle ages singers that make some middle aged British women all gaga.

Such scenario exist in lala-land

It's ( both American-born and immigrant ) S Korean and Chinese girls married American-Nikkeijins.Japanese males not S Koreans are preferrably desired in America without any reservations.There is also an uptrend among S Korean females marrying Chinese guys ( mostly Taiwan and some mainland China ),very few to none Japanese and Chinese dating or married to Korean males in America.

My American-born Chinese schoolmate happily married to 4th generation ( Nikkeijin ) Japanese who is a young dentist and only child,the marriage faced no objection from his full-blooded Japanese parents.

I think there are only a specific type of Korean men Chinese and Japanese females like. And that is usually the younger generation who are less macho and men's pride. Traditional Korean men smile less than Japanese and Chinese, often show you a cold emotionless face.
I know several Korean females and they told me that they hate the men-dominated society in Korea. Most Korean wifes still have to talk to "You Sir" to their husbands.
I had a Korean girlfriend for a while and she told me she prefers me because I treat females as equal people while most of her Korean male friends could not.

But as I said before, the trend is that more and more Korean young men are showing more tolerance towards female emancipation etc.

About 90% of Japanese male-foreign female marriages are between people from countries where people are predominantly Mongoloid. From the rest, the highest number if of Brasilian and Peruvian nikkei.And from the quotation above I feel that in US-JP marriages the race is important factor too.

These are probably the "English vampires". They are everywhere, date native speakers to improve their English or because are tired of their own men.
Genarally, I think that the view on certain nation's males or females, very much depends on the viewer's cultural background.If for one nation certain feature is cute, for another culture it might just be unpleasant, I'd use memeshii.The definition for respect is also different.And yes, do you really think a Japanese girl will tell you in the eyes that she prefers different nation.Japanese girls are tactful and delicate, even if it comes up to small lies.

that is why there are plastic surgery women in korea more than in japan

I think this is general for most men, whatever they say.It is more about personality, than to nation. Why in Japan everybody is so much into Bihaku and diet? Have you heard about that Brasilian model, who became anorexic while in Japan?

That's the problem of most Japanese male: never try to understand Japanese women and to see the things from their point of view, and rudely press to these delicate creatures their "politics" and "sports". Of course Japanese women woild prefer some other nation, including Koreans.

Please do not think by your sense of values.

I'm not Japanese, but I still vote with my both hands, and 100% would choose Korean men!! I don't like the way Japanese men like to be the cuddled and submissive part in the couple, and even look for stronger women to take care of them. And I definitely don't like the lack of disrespect the Japanese have towrads women. As if their women (and women in general, as I came to understand) are born only to serve and to entertain Japanese men.
Just an example:
Due to my physical condition, I was advised not to pick up and carry heavy objects, and to do some heavy exercises. Anyway, I had to bring some very heavy lugguage to the PO, in prder to send it with an insurance. I asked the only Japanese male friend I have for help, and he just disapperared. Elegant way of refusing in Japanese. He is aware of my poor health.
My Korean friend helped me every time, while he was in Japan, and even when we met in Korea, the first thing he did was to offer me to carry my heavy bag. He was so sick, that he nearly fainted later that day.
Now, shall I not prefer Koreans to Japanese!
Besides, I personally find Koreans much more masculine and sexy!

there is a woman who has big luggage at the station.
Most Japanese will disregard her.
I think She doesn't want to help,either.
Of course,
If she is really embarrassed, the story is different.

I bet taehyun's interpretation on the Japanese society would be more plausible if someone like Prof. O Seonhwa could happily live in her birthplace, South Korea.
Prof. O is a sort of Korean Maciamo living and teaching in Japan.

I'm wondering which drinking style you prefer, Japanese or Korean. Sorry if you don't drink or you hate drinking parties.
Most Japanese guys would be so surprised to see young Koreans preserving their good drinking manners, at least I was.

I think several members of us here got the focus now.
It is only a faction of young Japanese women and girls who have a flavor for Korean men because of some handsome actors and singers. But that cannot be put in general to all Japanese females. And adoring male actors of an specific country doesn't neccessarily mean that you would prefer a man from that country.
Only because I like several US actress, does it mean I want a US woman as my girlfriend or wife?

This is Chinese females' typical perception of Japanese and Korean males.

Japanese = male chauvinistic
Korean = bad tempers,violent,heaving drinking,male chauvinistic

Chinese young women commonly would marry Japanese,not Koreans.So far,I haven't met one single Japanese female here in USA takes interest in Korean men.

This is not my statement, actually, I heard it from and American girl in our university.

But actually, I agree that I am not in the heads of the Japanese women, and just judge from what I see (and experience).If the Japanese women say they don't like Koreans, this makes me happy. Before writing this, I just forwarded the thread to some of my Korean male friends. Now I'm sure I'll have their full attention, any other Asian would be disregarded, I hope.
Yes, and that iyagarase, to which I was subject before, I thought that it was just because of competitiveness( good looking European= threat), but now I see that it is not like that. Next time this happen, I'll regard it as harrasment on national and racial basis.

On the other hand, many Korean women chose to marry Japanese men. Exactly 2,613 Korean women married a Japanese, which is four out of 10 Korean women who married a foreigner.

More and more Korean men marry foreign women because of the gender inbalance. In fact, alot of Korean men who can't get a Korean wife go through the Moonies church to set them up with women from all over East Asia. It's in alot of cases pretty disgraceful what goes on in the moony related marriages.

If it wasn't for privacy, I would put here the photos of some model-looking girls I met on Cyworld and in real life, and who like Korea. Obviously, we are looking in different directions, and this is why we see different things.Arguing under such conditions won't lead to anything.

OK, I'm the gaijin here and of course, I don't understand Japan.
I don't have stalker, this is just some nice man who puts accidently letters "go away", and my stuff just melt under the sun or in the mail box. And what more normal of that to sleep with somebody in return for the big osewa to have your luggage carried from your old house to your new one in the same city, or to show you the bookstore where they sell foreign literature, or to take you to a matsuri in a small town nearby?Why should I refuse?And what is that weakness-to cry of pain sqwatted on the floor.Why should I expect a man to offer me his seat?
