What these say please. Thankyou
話も結果引き上げだったので不参加ですね、

マケン姫は砂川さんの誘いで止めを3カットぐ らい手伝っただけです。

HUNTERは冒頭の屋根の上を走っているゴンのあたりを飛び飛びで、

スペースダンディ13話はQTに降り注ぐエネルギー体3カットぐらいをやった気がします。

四畳半の僕の担当カットは酔っ払った女が橋の上で叫んでいる2カットです.

Where did you get it from?
Why do you want to know the meaning?
Why did you omit the beginning of a sentence?

friend of my got it off 2chan

So you want us to translate some random crap that you have no idea what it even is just to entertain you?

Well, since no one is willing to translate the bit from 2chan, I'll try myself. Someone please correct my mistakes, as I'm not sure about some of these.

This looks like an animator's resume:

NEEDLESS5話も結果引き上げだったので不参加ですね、
Episode 5 of Needless was pulled out as well consequentially, so I didn't participate.
(This is obviously missing context, since も is used, so something similar happened before. But I assume some company outsourced an order to them, and then pulled it out? Or could 引き下げ be used here as in スケジュール/予定繰り上げのため、間に合わなくて不参加だった?)

マケン姫は砂川さんの誘いで止めを3カットぐ らい手伝っただけです。
I helped with about 3 still shots on "Maken-ki!"upon Sunagawa's (animation director) invitation.

HUNTERは冒頭の屋根の上を走っているゴンのあたりを飛び飛びで、
HunterxHunter - I did stuff here and there right around the scene in the beginning where Gon is running on the rooftops.
(I'm not sure about this あたり. If the intention is 婉曲的に言う shouldn't it be a suffix? As in 走ってるゴンあたり. Maybe it's actually physical - as in backround/vicinity where the character was running?)

スペースダンディ13話はQTに降り注ぐエネルギー体3カットぐらいをやった気がします。
Episode 13 of "Space Dandy" - I feel I did about 3 shots in the scene where bodies of energy poor down on QT.

四畳半の僕の担当カットは酔っ払った女が橋の上で叫んでいる2カットです
I was in charge of the 2 shots in "Tatami Galaxy" where a drunk woman is shouting on the bridge.

一応言っておくとhaloは吉成さんの間の薬莢が落ちるカットですw。次は多分プリキュアの最終回です。頑張ります。

For the record, I did the shot in "Halo" with the falling shell cases. in between Yoshinari's work. I'll probably be working on the finale of "Precure" next . I'll do my best.
(Not sure about the usage of 間 here. Does he mean 吉成が仕事を休んでた間のカットは俺がやった?As in - they did it in succession?)

For what its worth, thankyou.

Ehm... So, going by the lack of comments, should I assume that my translation was correct?

OK... I'm pretty sure about the rest, but this one is weighing on my mind a bit, and no one's responding, so I'm just going to ask directly: Toritoribe, is my translation/interpretation correct here? Is it abbreviated as I initially thought, or is this some sort of specific use of 間 I'm not recognizing here?

I don't get that use of 間 either. On another note, カット is usually translated as "cut scenes" when referring to the animated (and non-playable) video sequences in-between game stages.

Your translation "in between Yoshinari's work" seems correct. I didn't answer since I don't know the context. It can even mean "in the Yoshinari's room (where the gun is shot)", for instance.

Your translation is correct. 走っているゴンのあたり can include background, but 走っているゴンあたり means 走っているゴンか誰か/何か "or someone/something".

Yeah, the whole quote feels taken out of context.

Hmm, that's strange. So, in the case of のあたり the whole "冒頭の屋根の上を走っているゴン" is a modifier, but in the case of the suffix version only the (走ってる)ゴン is a modifier? Am I understanding this correctly? Is there an explanation why it works this way?

The modifying clause/phrase is not the point.
e.g.(when suspecting a person)
あいつあたりが怪しい
(婉曲的表現 of あいつが怪しい)

あいつのあたりが怪しい
(including someone/some people around him)

Hmm. For some reason, I always had the impression that のあたり is physical vicinity/surroundings and the suffix version is 婉曲的表現.
So both of your examples are 婉曲的表現 in this case? And "あいつの辺りが怪しい" still includes あいつ, right? Not just his "surroundings"?

I'm still not completely sure why the suffix version only focuses on ゴン. For example, what if we were to change the words around a bit.

1) "冒頭の屋根の上をゴンが走っているあたり"
vs
2) "冒頭の屋根の上を走っているゴンあたり"

Does the 1st one mean what it's supposed to? "Right around the scene where Gon is running on the rooftops in the beginning?"

So both of your examples are 婉曲的表現 in this case?
あたり is a noun, just like 周り, in the latter case.

"あいつの辺りが怪しい" still includes あいつ, right? Not just his "surroundings"?
Yes.

Does the 1st one mean what it's supposed to? "Right around the scene where Gon is running on the rooftops in the beginning?"
Yes. If it's 冒頭の屋根の上ゴンが走っているあたり, it means 冒頭のゴンが走っている屋根の上のあたり, i.e., "around the rooftops".

あたり is a noun, just like 周り, in the latter case.

Yes, I understand that it's grammatically a noun, but I'm still confused about the usage. Could you answer these questions to help me clear it up:

1) Is my previous statement correct: "のあたり is physical vicinity/surroundings and the suffix version is 婉曲的表現."?

2) Is there a situation where のあたり can mean 婉曲的表現?

3)Can the original sentence: "HUNTERは冒頭の屋根の上を走っているゴンあたりを飛び飛びで" mean 婉曲的表現? F.E. Can it mean "例えば冒頭の屋根の上を走っているゴンなど~"?

4) What's the difference between a) 六本木あたりで遊ぶ and b) 六本木のあたりで遊ぶ?

1) 2)
I meant のあたり can't be 婉曲的表現 by "noun", and the suffix あたり is not always 婉曲的表現.

3)
No and no. There exists cases that ゴンのあたり doesn't include ゴン.

4)
かどこか vs の近辺. The former can refer to places which are physically distant from 六本木 (but close in some sense, entertainment districts, for instance).

Well, that's actually how I interpreted the usage before, but I misread what you meant at first and got thrown off a bit.
I said:
By "maybe It's actually physical" I meant that it also might be 婉曲的表現 and you said:

I thought by "can include background" you meant it also could include 婉曲的表現 not ゴン. That's why I kept asking about のあたり But it's all clear now.

4)
かどこか vs の近辺. The former can refer to places which are physically distant from 六本木 (but close in some sense, entertainment districts, for instance).

That's what I thought, but I took this example from goo, and it was used to indicate physical proximity "㋐そのへん。一帯。近所。「六本木―で遊ぶ」" Is this one of the cases where
and the suffix あたり is not always 婉曲的表現.
?

example 1
六本木あたりでしか遊ばない

example2
「あの子今どこにいるか知らない?」
「六本木あたりで遊んでんじゃない?」

六本木あたり only refers to 六本木近辺 in #1, and I think this is not 婉曲的表現, whereas it's 婉曲的表現 in #2. So the meaning of 六本木あたり differs depending on the context.

That makes sense. And as usual, thanks for taking the time to explain everything properly!
