I'm having a problem finding childcare.

We are a couple who came to Japan recently with a baby.
My husband works full-time at a Japanese company and I was offered a job at European company in Japan.
I really wanted to work for them but when I start looking for preschool there is NO place left for 0yo.
We have just signed an apartment so it's kinda difficult to move to somewhere with (potentially) better childcare service.

So here is my situation
-work will start in January
-no place in preschool(Ninka, Ninka-gai)
-babysitter costs like 6000euros (30,000yen per day with transportation fees)

I am ashamed that I cannot make more than 6000euros a month. So if I need to work I need to use my savings.
And If I don't have work I cannot get a place in preschool( I can apply but a lady at the city office said I may not get it cause the points are low while looking for a job)
WHAT SHOULD I DO ??
Please advise me.

Hello, welcome to the forum.
Can you explain what you mean by "And If I don't have work I cannot get a place in preschool"? Is this for some government preschool program that is for women with jobs?
Have you looked for a private preschool who would watch 0yo? Or ask either your husbands company or your upcoming company if they offer a preschool/child care?

Just some ideas.

Hi Petaris,
Thank you for the reply.
Yes, I have looked at all the private preschools as well and there is literally NO place left for 0 yo. So they prioritize the ones who already have a job. which I can understand.
I applied for some saying I'm getting a job but at this moment no luck.
I've also asked my husband's company and mine and they don't have any support for childcare.
They mostly have male employees so they never considered one -that's what HR had told.

Now I'm planning to visit the Mirailabo in Shibuya even it's far from my work and house.

Thanks for the ideas anyway!!
