Ok, so I am a pretty good baker, but a not so good cook. And part of that is because I am somewhat afraid of trying recipes, only to have them horribly fail.
So, even though I love Japanese food and most Asian food in general, I am very intimidated by the cooking process.
Well, I got up the nerve, and since I love the sweet daikon and cucumber salad served at some restaurants, I decided to be budget and health concious, and make it myself.
I bought two japanese daikon radishes, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and cucumbers. I am also considering making my favorite bean sprouts side dish as well.
What is your favorite daikon salad or side dish recipe? Please provide a link if possible.
