introduce yourself to someone?
saying "Nice to meet you. My name is ______. How are you?"

or do you usually introduce yourself in a different way?

I was taught it before, but I can't remember.

In Japanese?

"Hajimemashite. [your name] to moushimasu. Douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu."

hehe yes, in japanese...sorry.

Is there a different way to say it? I remember Hajimemashite...but I don't remember all of that.

You can use:
"Hajimemashite. Watashi wa [your name] desu. Douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu."
but I like "to moushimasu" better. :)

That's up to you. I personally say it without "Japanizing" it because I think as long as they know the actual pronunciation, they (Japanese people) can Japanize it themselves. If I were to say it in front of a class (of Japanese learners), I Japanize it. :)
