What if I have a degree in Web Design and Computers?

If I am taking like a 2 year college course that involved getting my Web Design and Computers degree, can I get a decent job in Japan that does not involve teaching? Thanks if anyone can help.

It may be legally possible to get a work visa with just a 2-year degree, but in reality most companies hiring foreigners in Japan usually require a 4-year degree.

Yeah... you will need a 4 year certification regarding the working visa, but there are other kind of visas. I don't remember correctly but try to get some info about what type of visa an artist can get. I had a couple of friends that stayed in Japan for about 12 months and one is a photgrapher and the other a writer, but I am not sure if they worked during their stay. I might be wrong about other types of visa, though.

in some cases you dont need a 4 year degree (as far as i've heard). in Australia quite a few of our degrees are 3 years as they dont have the extra year for placement in the industry.
people i know have obtained a working visa with a 3 year degree. it has to be recognised as suitable by immigration though i think..? hell, i know people who have obtained working visas with no degree!
