What does this paper say? Help

Hi everyone, i went to a japanese festival and asked if they can write Madara (the character from naruto) in japanese. I got this:

Does it really say Madara?

Not really. It CAN read "Madara", but actually his name is written in katakana マダラ in the manga.
 
The first two kanji is a common family name 真田[Sanada], and the last one is just a katakana ラ[ra]. It can be read madara, as I wrote in my previous post, but almost all people read it as "Sanada ra", a meaningless word.
