What do you think of washlet (shower toilet)?

I know that a lot of Japanese people have it in their house.
I love washlet. It's so comfortable
But here in Australia, we don't have it.
How about you?
Have you ever used it? Do you have one?
If you are living other than Japan, do you have something similar? (not the classic bidet)
I'm hoping that washlet will be spread in Australia one day.

Hummm, I have one in my house but I actually dislike it cause it feels like, say, creepy. Of course, it's just my opinion, my mum love using it.

Probably I'm just touchy about anything touching any part of my body.

Have them at work, use one everyday & it's fooking lovely What better than a clean backside? Also, it really does help constipation, or that hard-to-get out soldier; the warm water helps to dislodge the buggers

A washlet is a toilet that has a bidet type thing that retracts into the back of the toilet. When you want you use it you push a button on the toilet and a little sprayer comes out of the back of the toilet and washes you. It does actually get you really clean if you don't mind being sprayed .

That's bizarre. I wonder what Freud would say about that, lol. No doubt a little anal. Retentive or expulsive? I suppose if one did it for the (surface) reason of cleaniliness, then it might be anal retentive. If however, the feeling of taking water in and then letting it out might give some degree of pleasure, it might be that one was anal expulsive. The personalities of these two would be quite distinct.

in my experience only the toliet seat and warm water

Imagine that your hands are dirty, do you just wipe them?
No, you'll wash them, won't you?
It's the same thing.
It will leave you with a nice and clean feeling.
Once you experienced that, you'll love it.

I haven't exactly tried out a washlet, but I don't like the idea of water squirting me after I'm done using it. Until I try one, my opinion will stay the same as it is now.

The washlet sounds interesting, but I don't know if I'd be comfortable being sprayed with water. Maybe, though, never know until I've tried.
