What do you look for in Jrock bands?

For me, I look at how good their music is and how the members act. Sometimes, even if their music sucks, I'll still like the band for its members.

anyway i look for three things

1 - Meaningfull Lyrics
2 - Great sound
3 - Awesome Style (i guess this one is because i'm a cosmetology student and i use jrock styles in my school work and for my tests)

Well I basically look for good music. But of course my taste of music isn't always the same as other people's, so what sounds good to me won't to others... I listen for skill of the instruments and vocals, but not just that, I listen that every instrument gets the chance to shine through, cos there's not much point having an excellent bassist or guitarist (for example) if you can't hear them too well!

I look at the recordings first because if they are in Japan I can't go and see the live shows... next I look at live videos/recordings to see if they are good on stage... if they have a good stage presence firstly, and perform well, and connect with the audience... and after that, about their overall look and whether they have made a good effort.

"rememberable songs". if their songs will stick in my mind then that's good.
