Do you understand the difference between 返す and 貸す?

来週、ほかの３冊を持ってきます。
Are these books Ari's books (that Ishikawa is going to return to Ari) or Ishikawa's books (that she is going to lend to Ari)?

The answer to that question is clear from context, and that dictates whether (b) or (d) is correct.

Now i got the idea.石川 is who is saying that: 来週、ほかの３冊を持ってきます。
