Hello!
My fiancé and I would like to engrave on our wedding rings kanji marks: heart and soul.
I'm totally beginner in japanese so I want to ask you for help.
I found meaning "kokoro" for heart. I want to know if meaning for "tamashii" should be write in kanji as 魂.
Thank you for all answers

Yes, 心 and 魂 are the most common translation of heart and soul, respectively.

If your engraver is not familiar with Chinese characters, it is important to give them good reference material. Otherwise, the characters may end up looking bad.

I am uploading a few reference images here. You can probably find better images elsewhere, but this is a start.

Thank you very much for answers and good advice
Cheers!
