Weather in Japan during...

I am visiting japan during the last couple weeks of june/ the first couple weeks of July. How is the weather in Tokyo/Kyoto during this time? (Answers from natives/people living there would be appreciated please)

Sorry to inform you, but you'll be arriving in the middle of the rainy season. Please see this for more info:

However, there had been a "dry" rainy season with wonderful weather in the past, so you might get lucky...

Just make sure you have your rain gear and clothes for hot & humid weather prepared when you come!

You can actually check the rainfall total for the last few years for any given date here:
Local Weather Forecast, News and Conditions | Weather Underground (Tokyo)
Scroll down to History & Alamanac. Just pick a date or two during your stay and then you can look at the last 5 years or whatever to get a feel for it.

Japan in July is a rainy season.
Usually, drizzle gets down every day.
It is humid and mold occurs easily by food.
Cautions are required for the thing made of the skin.

Although it does not know whether it is the influence of global warming, there is much local severe rain recently.
