Nicholas Negroponte, the co-founder of the Media Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, detailed specifications for a $100 windup-powered laptop targeted at children in developing nations.

This looks like a cool little gadget and I can definitely see it being a big seller!

Maybe they can put it on a wristband and use the mechanism from self-winding wristwatches to charge it up when not in use.
