I learned that the へ particle only works with verbs that indicate the actual action of moving from one place towards another (e.g. 行く、来る) and not with ones that merely describe the way of motion (e.g. 歩く、翔ける). I expect this to be true, but to be sure: that is the case, right?

Anyway, I was wondering which verbs classify as this type of verb, or at least the common ones.

Thanks in advance,
Dylan

Although compound verbs 歩いていく, 歩いてくる, 駆けていく, 駆けてくる, 駆け上がる, 駆け下りる or like that might be more common with へ, direction へ歩く or 翔ける/駆ける works fine with no problem.

Also note that the Japanese often use "へ" and "に" particles interchangeably to express the sense of direction.
