So here's a few various verb forms that I need a bit of explaining on.

One of them is changing the last kana of the verb into "い" form, such as this: 止み, instead of 止む. What does this change?

Another thing is 現れん. I guess this is a form where you drop the る off and put a ん? It's original is 現れる. So what exactly does this form convey?

Lastly, in this form it seems you seem to change the last kana into "え" form and add "る," such as 死ねる. What does this form mean?

That's used to continue the sentence such like

雨が止み、虹が出た。
The rain stopped and (then) the rainbow appeared.

This is just one of many usages, though.

現れ (the imperfective form of the archaic verb "現る") + ん (the euphonic change of "む", the conclusive form of the archic auxiliary verb "む" which indicates "guess/intention")

死ねる: to be able to die

It's the potential form of 死ぬ

It could also be a modern contraction of the negative form: 現れない.

Exactly. It depends on the context.

我再びこの地に現れん。: the archaic sentence
太陽はなかなか現れんなあ。: the contraction of "現れない"
いきなり目の前に現れんなよ！: the euphonic change of "現れる"
なんでいつも急に現れんだろう？: the contraction of "現れるん/現れるの"
