Upgrade to vB 3.7.1

Dear valued members,

we have just upgraded to vBulletin's (purportedly revolutionary) new version of our forum software. There are many changes, options, bells and whistles, such as thread tagging/tag clouds, a user friendship system, picture galleries for each user, user-created social groups (based on interest, location, etc.), social bookmarking integration, new member profile pages, and so forth.

Please check the following thread at vbulletin.com for more detailed info. At the moment we are still feeling overwhelmed by all these innovations ourselves.

Due to the recent inactivity we have removed the chat altogether. We might consider to implement an IRC-based chat in the near future though.

As usual, if you happen to find any bugs, errors and flaws, kindly post them right here.

I feel the new "quotes" are difficult to read, because the letters are gray, and the background is also grayish ..☝

I've seen someone else complain about the new quote format, although I don'T remember where at this moment in time. I have to say that I liked the old quote format better than the current one, too.

I can agree with both of the immediately above. At the same time, nevertheless, I myself often use a style (which I have come to kind of prefer) which, while a bit more work (true) can result in clearer direction (and 'point in case' exposition) than just quoting whole blocks, viz. the ole copy and paste style.

But, anyway, the new style is hard to read. (I don't know if color can be changed there, since I haven't used it yet.)
