Unemployment in JP vs. TW

Just wondering how bad unemployment could be for an industrialized nation-neighbor with a bad economy vs. Taiwan's. Last I heard in the news, there were plenty of PhD grads in TW who really had scrounge about just to find any sort of work available in their home country. Any similar scenes over in JP? ☝

I find that there is always plenty of work in Japan. English schools are always hiring, and you will at the very least be able to make 200,000 JPY a month even in the worst case senerio.

Hmm.. doesn't seem too bad at at least 2.6k USD a month.
